Tim Daniel is a senior executive with more than 20 years of experience in general management relating to technology, professional service and product development initiatives that generate revenue and increase profitability for global companies. Tim is currently an Executive Vice President for International SOS, the world’s most comprehensive, 24-hour medical and security assistance response organization.
Prior to his current role, Tim served as the company’s CIO, and was responsible for global IT and telecommunications investments and operations. He assumed the CIO role in September 2003 after spending almost two years as the Director of Business Applications. As the founder and Chief Operating Officer for the company’s Internet division he provided strategic direction to a staff 30 responsible for the development and deployment of products that use technology to help keep SOS members healthy, safe and productive while traveling or living overseas. Prior to starting the SOS Online Internet division in 2000, he was the corporate Vice President of sales and marketing, based at the SOS group headquarters in Singapore.
Tim’s background includes domestic and international management experience in IT and professional services industries. As an electrical engineering graduate, he has been an early adopter and professional advocate for emerging technologies throughout his career. Tim’s current responsibilities include the day to day management for negotiation and support activities for several joint venture opportunities and project management for post acquisition integration for new International SOS subsidiaries. He also serves as a senior media spokesperson and key customer liaison.
